Achievement Through Confidence, or ATC for short, is a k-12 educational tutoring agency that offers private one-on-one tutoring in all subjects, from elementary school to college. Our tutors are experts in their respective field and have years of experience helping students grow and learn. Upon meeting with an ATC Tutor, we will identify your child's unique learning style and create a personalized learning plan to ensure your child achieves their desired goals. In-person tutoring takes place in the student's home or another public space, such as a library. All tutoring sessions are available with zoom options.
One-on-one Tutoring
Test Prep: SHSAT, SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, New York State Test, NY State Regents
Elementary: Reading, Math, Study Skills, Homework Help, Writing, Academic Enrichment, and Book Club.
Middle/High School: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, All New York State Regents, Living Environment (Biology), Earth Science, Study Skills, Homework Help, Writing, and Book Club.
Book Club: Your child will read engaging and thought provoking novels to build essential reading skills, such as comprehension and inferencing. Students will learn to track how characters change over time, identify theme, and make powerful connections. Students will engage in fruitful discussions about the novel and learn to respond to the text through writing.
All sessions are personalized to fit your child's unique learning style. At ATC, we believe it is important to establish a baseline, create measurable and attainable goals, and then create a gameplan to help your child maximize their true learning potential. We will collaborate with your child's teachers and school to ensure success. If your child has a learning disability, or any other learning deficit, our Special Education Tutors will work with you and your child's current IEP goals to help your child achieve success.
